A Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and named “one of the 50 most creative and influential minds,” Manuel Lima is a leading voice in design and a bestselling author of four books. His work explores how design shapes culture, technology, and society, inspiring audiences worldwide.

With over 15 years of experience at Google, Microsoft, Nokia, and R/GA, Manuel has built and led product teams that thrive on big ideas and bold challenges. He believes in the explosive mix of grit, talent, and optimism, and grows smart teams through empowerment, autonomy, and inspiration — always with a dose of fun and passion.

A respected thought leader in information visualization, Manuel has spoken at 100+ conferences and universities across four continents, including TED, Harvard, MIT, Yale, the Royal College of Art, Ars Electronica, and OFFF.
