Master of Fine Arts - Design and Technology (MFADT) program at Parsons School of Design
Just bought the new book “Creative Code” from John Maeda. Pretty interesting even thought it’s not about Maeda’s work but his considerations over other new media artists/designers. Concentrating mostly in the work developed at the Aesthetics and Computation Group at MIT Media Lab, the book exposes a few known names, such as: Yugo Nakamura, Martin Wattenberg, Ben Fry, Golan Levin, Casey Reas, among others.
Manuel Lima was born in the Azores, Portugal, in May 1978. In 2002 he completed a 6 year degree in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture - UTL (Lisbon) and finished a 7 month internship at the design firm Kontrapunkt, located in Copenhagen - Denmark. Currently living in New York, Manuel is taking an MFA degree in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. For this purpose he has received three scholarships from Parsons School of Design, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Luso-American Foundation. Manuel is currently working as a design researcher at Parsons Institute for Information Mapping.

I also just got the book and I can say that it's quite inspiring in order to search new way of giving better infovis user centered solutions.
