Searching for Internet topologies I found this interesting concept of mapping a virtual existence in a physical geography. NYC Bloggers visually maps the presence of bloggers in the city of New York organising them by subway stops. You can zoom in several layers in each borough and find a listing of all blogs in that area. So far there are 3546 indexed blogs. Join freely at NYC Bloggers.
Manuel Lima was born in the Azores, Portugal, in May 1978. In 2002 he completed a 6 year degree in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture - UTL (Lisbon) and finished a 7 month internship at the design firm Kontrapunkt, located in Copenhagen - Denmark. Currently living in New York, Manuel is taking an MFA degree in Design and Technology at Parsons School of Design. For this purpose he has received three scholarships from Parsons School of Design, Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Luso-American Foundation. Manuel is currently working as a design researcher at Parsons Institute for Information Mapping.
